Tropical managed Tropical Forests (TmFO) web site now online

The website of the project Tropical managed Tropical Forests (TmFO) has been launched (http://www.tmfo.org).

The TmFO is a new project aiming to monitor the dynamics of tropical managed forests. The project is coordinated by Cirad involves 15 different research institutions including EcoFoG and is funded by the Sentinel Landscape program of the CGIAR. TmFO brings together the existing networks of permanent sample plots monitoring in the tropical forest ecosystems of the Amazon, Central Africa and South East Asia. The main objective of the project is to assess the resilience of logged tropical forests in the context of climate change as well as their capacity to provide goods and services sustainably.
